This universal power supply adjusts its output voltage using an intelligent technique that detects which power plug is connected. How to calculate the wattage of your notebook
To see if the universal charger is suitable for your netbook or notebook, you can calculate the wattage of your laptop. First, check your current charger or check the properties of your notebook. Then multiply the volts by the amperage to calculate the total watts needed. For example, if your current charger has an output of 15V 3A, you need an adapter with 45 watts (15V x 3A) at minimum .
